Why am I using Blogger as the platform for my new blog? Why not?

Marketing, style, design, etc are all very important things when trying to attract eyeballs to a site. But the heart of brings people to your site should be valuable content.

Before I purchase the domain and spend hours on the look of the site, I want to first focus on the content. I also want to be an example that you don't have to spend countless hours and dollars to create a self-sustaining site. Again, to clarify, I'm not saying to ignore important things like SEO and branding but that doesn't need to be the focus of what you create.

Therefore, I decided to start this blog with no budget and just the bare-bones. While I could easily purchase a domain or hosting on a premium site I will only move to those platforms once this blog has brought in the dollars itself.

This is a blog about how to acquire the job you want. I will be sharing my perosnal experience and showing you how to land that "dream job." We may not look like much now but as we help people grow in their professional lives so too will we grow as a platform.
