Ten Tough Job Interview Question

These questions were presented on Base Line Magazine. It's quite possible that you have already run into a similar line of questions during an interview. For those of you haven't try to answer them as if you were sitting across from your potential employer. And remember, it's not always about the final answer but how you got there.

  1. How many hotels are in the U.S.?
  2. How many would use a drug that prevents baldness
  3. What is the profit potential of offering wireless Internet service on planes?
  4. After streamlining and reducing costs for raw materials, can you think of another way to reduce the cost of making a piece of chocolate?
  5. Interview me. Then tell me if you would hire me.
  6. There are three products - tomatoes, luxury cars and t-shirts - what value-added tax is applied to each type?
  7. Name as many uses for a brick as you can in one minute.
  8. Tell me about a time when you changed the culture in the workplace.
  9. Estimate the annual revenue of a multi-screen cinema. Try two different methods.
  10. If you were to rank quality, customer satisfaction and safety in order of importance, how would you rank them? Discuss.
